Biography


I am a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist as well as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor.  I received my Masters in Marriage and Family Therapy  (Christian Theological Seminary, Indianapolis, In.) and my Ph.D. in Clinical Social Work (Institute of Clinical Social Work, Chicago, Il.) I graduated from the International Institute of Psychoanalysis (Chevy Chase, MD)  and have been in private practice for over 25 years. I  am on faculty at the Institute of Clinical Social Work  (Chicago , Il.) and at the International Psychotherapy Institute (Chevy Chase, MD.)  I  practice  psychoanalytically oriented psychotherapy with adults and couples.  I also offer psychoanalysis for adults.


In addition, I am trained in EMDR (eye movement desensitization and reprocessing therapy - used for post traumatic stress) and Hypnosis.
